I’m not the only person in my circle of friends who watches a lot of home improvement television, and this post comes to you courtesy of one of my favorite people in the world. She was relaxing at home about a month ago, watching the first airing of episode 5 of Room Crashers. I got an amusing text while I was on vacation about Todd Davis ‘yanking a wall down’ and I’ve been trying to see it ever since. Well, after a month of trying, I finally saw Todd swing into action on the wall. The pictures speak for themselves:
I’m not really sure any specific OSHA regulations apply to this one, but still, there is no reason to try this at home. Swinging on a wall that has been cut loose from its supports and jumping off just in time to duck into the wall opening is just a great way to fall, be hit by a wall, and spend some serious money in the emergency room. And renovating is expensive enough, without having to pay the doctor an arm and a leg.
